Hi
I'm new here and I'm thinking of buying the VDO Editor, but my question is if this program is compatible with the 1Z0 920 843 C cluster? I looked on osoTEC and found one eeprom one firmware in version 0112. I read that in a cluster where the FW version is 0112, it is possible to put at most version 03xx but I didn't find it in the list. So I would like to ask if I searched wrong or if it is really not there? On another cluster 1Z0 920 843 K is version 0422 and on cluster 1Z0 920 843 Q is FW version 0608. Alternatively, where could I get the 03xx version.
Thank you all very much for your answers and tips.
Have a nice day

Re: 1Z0920843C firmware
Hello everyone,
I'm just checking in to ask again, does anyone have FW 0305 available for this cluster?
Thank you very much.

Sorry, I did not really understand your problem/question, but I willt try it.
VDOEditor is compatible to all versions of 1Z0 920 843 x clusters. And there are eeproms in database.

If you mean the firmware file, then this firmware has never been publicly available. It could be ordered, but I can’t imagine a reason to order this software, as it has limited functionality.nero150 wrote: 20 Feb 2026 09:30 I'm just checking in to ask again, does anyone have FW 0305 available for this cluster?

Re: 1Z0920843C firmware
Since nothing else can be loaded onto the 1Z0920843C cluster and similar models, which use a 24C32 EEPROM, firmware version 608—which already includes many additional features—is on a 24C64 EEPROM (twice the memory) or there is also supposedly a modified firmware from the Škoda Yeti cluster with the number 1008 or something like that, but that is also for the 24C64.
That’s why I asked about firmware version 305.
Anyway, I heard that you can swap the EEPROM from a 24C32 to a 24C64 and thus flash version 608 or possibly 1008. But unfortunately, I haven’t found any more information about this anywhere, and I don’t know exactly how to convert the original memory to the newer version so that the immobilizer and other features work. It’s definitely not as simple as just copying it to the second EEPROM and having it work.
Do you know anything about this?
Thank you

Thank you
I have that available from DataFlash, as you can see in the screenshot. I’ll give that a try then.
And regarding the other option I mentioned, do you have any information about it? Is it possible to do that?
