Please let me know before purchase if VDOEDITOR works perfect with cluster 5N0920883G SW1008 Diesel cluster.

1. Do you know if original cluster 5N0920883G VD1 with Hw H03 and Sw0003 can be updated to sw1008? I converted firmware FL_5NO920883f_1008_S.FRF to odx and checked the XML file. It shows that it is one of the expected clusters that this firmware can upgrade. Do you know to confirm?
2. What is the best way to use VDOedit whith this cluster ? Is the EEprom reader/writer with clip ok? What about the checksums? The areas modified are not calculated to checksum?

1. I did not see odx containers, but if it existed, everything would be ok.
2. It doesn't metter way of eeprom reading/writing. Some users use avdi/vvdi/fvdi, some use clip, some solder wires...

Utility keeps crypted areas untouched(immo, mileage), only if it is really required user can clear them by special buttons pressed.

With vdoeditor can I take RPM curve and Speed curve from eeprom from tacho Benzin sirocco 1K8 920 871 and put it to tacho diesel tiguan 5n0920883 ? I will use front cover of sirocco and i will also covert for manual handbrake. Is there any problem because the cluster originally is Diesel and it will be used for Benzin?

You could do it. Swap rpm, change dpf indicator. Only one possible problem: differences in mask. If some indicator has different location, it will be additional question how to fix it.

1. can I fix -disable dpf led with vdoeditor?
2. If there are different locations of indicators can we fix this? A value at a hex editor or something?

Vdoeditor knows dpf offset for clusters based 24c64 eeprom ic, but there is no ready solution for indicators if masks have differences.

Depends of indicator.
For example, you can chose (!) or (P) parking brake symbol in VDO Editor to fix missplaced parking brake indicator.
But some other indicators can be or can NOT be replaced. Some of them can be replaced by EEPROM, and that was done on my 3D by master to merge 3D plate and Passat B6 old scales. But i have no information, how it was done.
