Ways to read eeprom

Hello,
Can people advise of the best & easiest way to read eeprom data, I currently have soic clip but don't want to keep taking the cluster apart, I also have VCP but it's new to me so not sure if possible with that unless login code is known? Maybe I'm wrong? Or is there any other obd tool that can do it?
Thanks

Yes, without login VCP is useless.
Typicaly to get access via OBD Abritus, VVDI/VVDI2, FVDI or CarProg could be used.
There are several limitations regarding software 10XX. I know only one man who can get "zero" level access to dashboard with 10xx via OBD using Abritus.

I think carProg maybe the one I choose, it is quite a bit cheaper than the others, so is it not possible to read eeproms via obd for clusters 10xx, only direct read?

I have no feedback regarding carprog from VDOEDITOR users, so I could say that it's not popular software. VVDI and Abritus are used often.
Regarding 10xx yes, as far as I know You can not read EEPROM via obd.

You cant read 24c64 cluster by OBD if you dont have working key. If you have one, most of the tool will read it
