Golf MK6 Cruise Control not working with 3D Cluster

Hey everyone,

I'm new here and hoping you guys can help me out!

I recently installed a 3D instrument cluster (original part number 5N0920983G) into my Golf 6 GTD. I flashed it to firmware 1K8920885L 1109, and the dump I used was 1K8920885G 1007. I was able to code in the immobilizer (IMMO adaptation) and adjust the wheel circumference to get the speed roughly matching GPS — so far so good.

I also have a Discover Media head unit in the car, which brings me to my two issues where I really need your help:

**1. Volume bar in the cluster (nice to have):**
I know it should be possible to show a volume bar in the instrument cluster when adjusting the volume via the steering wheel controls. However, I can't figure out the right coding or adaptation setting to enable this. Does anyone know where to find it?

**2. Cruise control greyed out (main problem):**
This is my biggest headache right now — the cruise control is completely greyed out in the menu and simply cannot be activated. I have no idea what's causing this. Could it be related to the cluster swap and a wrong coding? Or is there something else I'm missing?

**3. Handbrake warning light not working:**
The handbrake indicator in the cluster is currently not functioning. From what I know, this requires resoldering on the cluster board, which I'm planning to get done soon. However, I was wondering — is there maybe a newer or easier method to fix this without soldering? I'd love to hear if anyone has found a different solution!

I'd be really grateful for any tips or hints — I've been stuck on this for a while now. Thanks in advance!

Cheers

I will recommend to try dump 5N0920983K -> 5N0920883H from database. For my opinion this dump fits much better: SW1008 -> SW1104
yes this is EU version, so you have to do a little bit more adjustments, but i think it will provide better results.
