5N0920883C
SW: 0611

I would like to enable side asist.

This cluster is not whitelisted, but I did not see any problem to do it. Since version 1.0.2.1 I fixed some problem with activation of SA on SW06XX.
Even more, I could guarantee for money back if this feature will not work. Of course, You can wait for response from other users

Sw06xx should support side assist

Hi,

Its been a while but wanted to post an update.

Got side assist working except for the LED. So I have side assist in the menu and can select to turn it OFF or ON.

I did also install the LEDs and resistors, tested by changing panel layout from VW v0.1 hex 07 to VW v0.3 hex 05, which showed LED working.

So my question is, would it be a SW issue or is there another configuration bit that needs to be triggered in EEPROM?

Is there an EEPROM configuration that enables all of the LEDs to work and display status?

On a separate note, could someone send me a 300km/h reference bin?

Hi i have 5n0 920 883C sw 0611
This cluster doesnt have mounted sideassist led and resistors at factory

VDO can enable it

I flashed thos cluster to another car and it works. You can try to flash it to newer version e.g 3d

But if i remember i put it in my car with soldered and enabled SA and all works.

Is there a good place where someone could buy instrument cluster parts? I was looking for a new instrument cluster case, or just the see through clear plastic lens for a Jetta Mk6.
