PQ35 front fog lights

Post by djdvr » 07 Feb 2020 14:21

Any chance of getting this also added to the output in VagHelper ? Or does someone know the offsets for fog lights so we can disable warm/cold diagnose ?

Hello,

I have 5K0937086Q BSM and changed 1942, 1943 and 1944 memory positions from C8 C8 C8 to F0 F0 F0 with no results. Front fog cold diagnosis still enabled after the changes. I'm going to try disabling front fog from coding and read memory again and look for changes in memory to have an idea of where are the front fog in memory.

Unfortunately, if you see initial values other than FF, it means BCM doesn't support modification. Offsets for front fog beam are different. I don't know correct offsets for this cases.

Anton, thanks for your reply

I tryed changing all unknown bits of all bytes with no results. Also tryed changing all near FF FF FF values of eeprom to F0 F0 F0 and nothing.

I'm thiking on resistors on front fog light with a timer that only works 5-6 seconds when acc is switched on to avoid cold diagnose error messages and then disconnect to avoid having a warming machine on my car. Warm diagnose is ok with my led lamps.

If somebody have done some research about missing bytes for front lights comments are welcome
