1K8920985G H04 SW1007 - "Highline 3D color"

Can anyone please explain the difference between a "Highline 3D color" cluster and "Highline 3D color CP"? I assume this means "Color Premium"?

I tried flashing a 1K8920985K H02 SW1104 "Highline 3D Color CP" onto my 1K8920985G and it looked the same in appearance /style as the 1K8920985G.

Also as per the photo below, which software or option displays the background that has the 3d golden "dots" in it, as neither of the two above firmwares appeared to show it?

CP means component protection. Clusters of this type have modified Eeprom structure

It is necessary to flash like 5N0920883H SW1104 from Tiguan and little bit modify eeprom (recover speedometer at least).
This flash is not public available.

Ok thanks for the reply. I can imagine I'd need to import the speedometer scaling from 1K8920985G onto 5N0920883H, but what other sort of modifications are needed? Does the Tiguan layout of warning lights match the Scirocco layout of warnings on the dial faces?

Layouts are different, but I am not sure that this offset will be updated while flashing.

Okay understand, I'll PM you anyway. I also have a Tiguan 5N0920983K SW1007 HWH04 to test 5N0920883H SW1104 with, probably a better result.

Restricted doesn't mean disabled. I received your PM and sent answer

Is anyone aware of the Major change between SW 1104,1105,1109 compared to SW 2030 ?
This looks like a decent Jump
And for the T6 VW changed the Part-number with this SW change.
So where is the major difference ?
I acquired one Premium 3D and one Black/White one with SW 2030, and i could not find a difference.

Light sensor config, some data changes ( curves in eeprom ) some new words in cluster etc.

At 11xx i saw " Light out " after ignition out and door open if You have scale backlit.

Skodapilot, would it be possible to update my 1k8920885H SW1008 with the 5N0920883H SW1104?
From what I have seen it is possible and then modify EEPROM, logically
can you provide the firmware?
