I have one question about fitting tiguan cluster in passat b7, all that needs to be done is to disable immo right?
I have 5N0 920 883 C cluster and I would swap casing, can this immo part be done with vdo editor? i will swap faces from passat, anything else that i'm missing?

VDOeditor doesn't support IMMO area, so You can not disable IMMO or modify IMMO data via VDOeditor. IMMO data is crypted by MCU and could not be decrypted without keys.
