got a question. I wanted to add a RHD rear light to a caddy mk4 LHD (pq35 platform) and recode the fog light as reserve light.
Now when i code it, it doesnt work. When i code the light as a brake light, it works as a brake light.
It is channel b50 and i tried to code it as C28. Somebody who knows? Does something has to be changed in the longcoding of 09 to accept it?
byte 18 is 00 (eeprom) but that speaks for itself as it works as a brake light.

Re: Coding mk4 caddy
I didn't not work with light schemes for Pq35 for a lot of time, but as far as I remember, all functions have different priority and some combinations are unworking.
B50 can be used as foot well light, so you have to ensure that this option are disabled in LC.
Change of FW version can be good choice too and older version can be preferred than newest

What i find really weird that is: when i code it off it doesnt have any function. When i code it as a brake light it works. But reverse not... Why?skodapilot wrote:I didn't not work with light schemes for Pq35 for a lot of time, but as far as I remember, all functions have different priority and some combinations are unworking.

This is nature of old PQ35 platform: BCM outputs have small flexibility and limited operation modes that are depending of FW version

Unfortunately, I have no solution for you, but FW is preferred for my opinion.

Yes. I don't know current version of FW, so downgrade in some case can be helpful too, i.e. 06**->05**
