Post by rrozbroj » 04 May 2019 15:50

Hello All,
I would like ask you have i can configure vaghelper for US lights ( Front turn lights with brightness 30% + 100% for turn signal ) ?
I dont really understand how i can configure 2 different brightness for example for A10,C50 :) (turn front L+R).
thanks a lot for help.

As far as I remember, It should be coded like this
Hidden Content
This board requires you to be registered and logged-in to view hidden content.
Unlike MQB, you code only one brightness due to second is always 100%

I don't understand fully too, even I'm developer. It is not joke. VAGHelper is result of reverse engineering. There are several blind spots

today i tried to test US lights at passat b7 2010. Same procedure as for Octavia 2 FL but it doesnt work. I configured A10(front turn signal) for 33% but after write configuration to ecu ligthning turn front signals with 100% brightness . So i dont understand of logic of program. Can you help me with it ?
Do you need screen of BCM or something ?

Are You sure that value is applied? What about 18th byte of long coding?

What was changed is just that turn signal lighting at 100%. I will check later autoscan how was set up bit18. it should be 00 ?

yes. Due to it acts as pointer. If you change this value, other addresses are used by BCM to configure light scheme
