You can change logo to any predefined according your cluster type (black and white or color), but you can not place your own

I was thinking that it would be nice to display in some way, if possible, the version number in the logo startup which appears when I start VREP.

What do you think?

Using a custom startup logo is possible but you need to modify the firmware rather the the EEPROM.

Did someone invest more time in this ?
The Russian post from Drive2.ru google-translated to german is probably loosing some of the information :(

i only could interpret that in Eeeprom Address 0x2F3 is a pointer into Flashaddress of Logo start.
I know that V850 is using 32 Bit addressing, so FlashAddr is 32 bit.

In my Eeprom Dump i get 00 D5 43 18 ==> 0x1843D500 but that is nonsense. The Flash is 2 Mbyte 0x00 - 0x1FFFFF

Best guess is 0x1843D5 that is inside the Flash and there is no code.

Any ideas ?

Oleg aka pirat did some steps. Unfortunately, I known only few results, because disassembler and assembler are not my powered skills.
Some weeks ago he sent me sprites of symbols from dashboard flash.

You probably can give him a hint that he does have a PM, if he does not look into the Forum, than hey probably will see the PM not, too.
Thanks
